Privacy Policy

What iLook keeps, who can see it, and how to change it.

What we keep

When you join iLook we store the details you enter on your profile: your name, headline, location, work history, education, skills and photo. We also store what you create on the network — posts, comments, reactions, connection invitations and messages — so the app can show them to the people you meant them for. If you apply for a role through iLook, the CV you upload is kept privately and attached to your application. We record the type of device you sign in from so we can keep the platform working well on phones, tablets and desktops.

Who can see it

You decide most of this yourself in Settings. Profile visibility controls who can open your profile, contact visibility controls who sees your email, phone number and date of birth, and you can turn off search discovery entirely. Your CV is not shown on your profile; it goes only to a role you choose to apply for. Messages are visible to the members in that conversation. We do not sell member data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Analytics and cookies

We use basic usage analytics to understand which parts of iLook are used and where pages fail, so we can improve them. This does not identify you personally and is not used to build advertising profiles. You can block cookies and local storage in your browser, though parts of the app that keep you signed in will not work.

Your choices

You can edit or remove any profile detail at any time. Deleting your account in Settings removes your profile and the content you created from the network and closes your sign-in. Content you sent to other members, such as a message or a job application, may remain in their copy of that conversation. For any other request about your information, write to us and we will deal with it.
